Religious Counseling Programs For
Schools: Trained Chaplains Support
Students
The National School
Chaplain Association has
new religious counseling
programs that are bringing
faith and compassion to
educational contexts.
They believe their programs
will have a worthy impact on
your school and foster
higher levels of wellbeing
and connectedness in your
school community.
You can now use the NSCA to
gain a full-time chaplain that
works exclusively with your
school, or to organize periodic
seminars, workshops and
counseling programs.
The NSCA will work with you
to provide a personalized
approach to your school, one
which will best meet your
pastoral care and counseling
needs.
The association trains all of
their accredited chaplains at
the university level and most of
their chaplains have come from
positions as classroom
teachers.
If your school takes on one of their accredited chaplains, you will
also gain the full support of their nationwide religious counseling
and pastoral care association.
The NSCA said, "Chaplains make a direct impact on an entire school
community through increased school safety, better teacher retention,
and enhanced mental health support.”
