1. Introduction
Having operated SkilledUp Life for 26 months, time has come to optimise the
organisation. The re-design uses a matrix organisation structure to optimise the
effectiveness of the team and cater for growth.
New organisation is split into:
● Volunteers headed by Mithun.
● Customers headed by Manoj.
● Operations with Manoj functioning as the interim head.
● Product with Manoj functioning as the interim head.
● Agile Country Teams.
Overall leader is the CEO.

2. Volunteers Team
Mithun will continue to lead the Volunteer Team, which will now be responsible for:
● Marketing to attract prospective volunteers.
● Volunteer acquisition through
○ Targeted acquisition via Linkedin, etc.
○ Education Partners.
● Conversion (once on website) and support.
● Volunteer wellbeing.
● HR, team support and performance monitoring to ensure high productivity.

Manoj will head the Customers Team, which will include:

● Sales sub-team.

3. Operations Team
Until a leader is found, the operations team would be led by Manoj. The team
includes:
● Support Team headed by Janet.
● HR Team.
● Marketing Team.
3.1 Support Team
Support team is headed by Janet and responsible for development of the team as
well as co-ordinating with Leaders of Volunteers and Customers Teams to
facilitate their conversion and support needs. Support team members will be split
between Volunteers and Customers.

3.2 HR Team
HR Team is responsible for sourcing the talent needed for Volunteers, Customers
and Operations Teams whilst ensuring these teams function at their optimum
levels. Key part of the effort is ensurincing effective succession planning.
Most HR team members will be assigned to a country as well as either Volunteers,
Customers or Operations Team.
3.3 Marketing Team
Marketing team is responsible for helping both Volunteers and Customers Teams
acquire volunteers and customers respectively. In addition, building the brand is
major part of the effort.
