The Parent Help Center has defied convention in the Family/Parenting Help market with the release of their Behavioral Summer Camp. Further information can be found by visiting our website.
Not a “Kumbaya” Summer Camp, this is a total
behavior transformation!
The Parent Help Center today reflected on its release of the
Behavioral Summer Camp 15 years ago, which was in development
for over 12 months.
The main aim was always to provide lasting change and
support for hurting families..and to defy convention, by
working with both parents and children in order to make a
real difference.
Glenn Ellison,, Founder and CEO at The Parent Help
Center, says: "We wanted to try something new with
the Behavorial Summer Camp.
Anyone familiar with the Family/Parenting Help
market will probably have noticed how
everyone else always seems to request that
children just get dropped off to be"fixed,"
instead of helping families address the root
cause.
We felt this was a problem because while changes
may occur in children attending camp, without
providing parents a definitive plan and ongoing
support, the child will ultimately revert to their
previous behaviors by going back to the environment
that helped create them.
" So as a welcome breath of fresh air, the Behavorial Summer Camp instead works
with both the child and parents to develop a plan unique to each family, then
provides weekly support to ensure success and long term change.
The Parent Help Center chose to
make this move because we were
tired of seeing families waste time and
money with no real change or results.
Other camps antiquated methods only
serve to increase frustration both with
children and parents, and does not support
legitimate change.
With the Behavioral Summer Camp, they have a fresh new
possibility, and one where each family feels supported.
The Parent Help Center has been
in business for 22 years, being
established in 2000.
Since Day 1 it has always aimed to empower
parents to raise respectful, productive children, to
strengthen our community, country, and the
world, and to change the way parents deal with-
and effectively correct-children's bad behavior
and attitudes.
