Defeating Aquaphobia In The Black Community:
Join This Swim Safety Retreat For Women Over 55
Did you know that over 1 in 3 African Americans cannot
swim, and are overall 50% more likely to drown than the
national average?
Diamond Crystal, aka the
Gallivanting Grandma, has
partnered with Back2theWater to
finally address this disparity.
Together, they have created a 10-day luxury learning experience for black women over the
age of 55 that will equip you with essential water safety skills.
Scheduled for August 2025, the retreat will be held
in the blue waters of Colombia, and will offer a
unique opportunity to build a community with other
passionate individuals.
The course will begin with basic safety techniques in
shallow water before eventually graduating to deeper
waters later in the itinerary.
Spots for this unique opportunity are limited, so RSVP today and make sure you don't miss out.
