Autism Education Center
in Youngstown OH
Celebrates Anniversary
with Webinar
If you're a parent or guardian of a child with autism, you
understand the complexity of the disorder.
The Rich Center For Autism in
Youngstown, Ohio, announces its free
educational webinar with world-
renowned autism spokesperson Dr.
Temple Grandin to celebrate its 25th
anniversary.
The hour-and-a-half webinar will discuss valuable insights into autism
research and what can be done to create a better learning environment
for those who think differently.
The webinar helps you learn
more about autism and its
spectrum.
The disorder is candidly discussed by Dr. Grandin as she
recalls her own experiences and the hurdles she has faced
as someone with autism.
The webinar will also talk about the
different manifestations of autism,
and how you can differentiate
involuntary behaviors from
voluntary ones.
Autism is a spectrum, which means that it manifests itself
differently per individual.
This is something that Dr.
Grandin emphasizes.
She says that contrary to popular media’s representation of
autism, those diagnosed with the disorder can lead happy,
productive lives.
What is necessary, however,
is that the public is better
educated on autism.
This includes identifying ways of intervention for those newly
diagnosed with autism and reviewing methods to assist older patients
to form social relationships.
As part of their 25th anniversary, the
Rich Center For Autism also
announces that Greg Boerio has
been officially named as Executive
Director.
