2. Establish a Quorum

With all Board members present, a quorum was established.

3. Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes

proved.

4. Election of Officers

Marcel was re-elected as President, Jack Berlin as Vice President, Rod Brenton moved to Direc-
tor, Jeff Tomes as Treasurer and Jill Rommel as Secretary.

5. New Business

Marcel reported on the Projects Completed in 2019 list, and proposed retitling the list of projects
as “Capital Projects to be completed in 2020.” This list highlights the larger maintenance items,
and removes minor routine ongoing work items. Projects for 2020 include building painting, fire
panel, pool pump cover, building a new fence on the northwest property line, deck refurbishing
and LED outdoor lighting.

The Board encourages owners who have maintenance issues, such as balcony repairs, to contact
Denise Fischer of Resource Property Management directly. Jack Berlin stated he would be
posting her phone number, for receiving texts from 9 til 5 on weekdays for these nonemergency
issues. The Board encourages owners to install storm doors to preserve our doors.
Specifications for storm doors are in our owner manuals, and need Board approval.

Resource Property Management will be doing an assessment of needed repairs on balconies and
balcony doors. Denise is coordinating dates with Rod Brenton for an assessment of our build-
ing’s electronics.

Rod Brenton made the motion and Jack Berlin seconded and the Board unanimously voted to get
a bid for a company to clean dryer vents in each unit to prevent fires.

Recycle bins have been added to the garbage garage near the street. Recycle containers in the
gazebo and by the doors are only for aluminum cans and plastic water bottles. No glass.

Because of damage, the men’s and women’s bathroom locks were replaced by a locksmith, cost-
ing $1100 to the Association.

Barb Ulrich asked that the carpet outside the west elevator be replaced for wear and tear.

Mayor Cookie Kennedy of the city of Indian Rocks Beach visited our meeting and covered such
topics: update on Red Tide plans, burying utilities, the townhouses to be built on Gulf Boulevard
and short term rental property owner legislation, and beach easements and noise. She also men-
tioned that the City is strictly enforcing the fireworks bans. Thanks to Mayor Kennedy for her
efforts on our behalf.

Meeting was adjourned at 4:20 p.m. on a motion made by Marcel and seconded by Jack and
passed 5-0.
