Shudder's most recent ruthless horror movie is "Grafted". Wei (Joyena Sun) moves to New Zealand from China to live with her Aunty Ling Murray (Xiao Hu) and her cousin Angela (Jess Hong) in order to continue her father's career and improve her appearance. She also studies at a local university under Paul (Jared Turner), a lecturer without any morals. Wei becomes a murderous mad scientist who is looking for a means to hide a family birthmark because she believes it makes her ugly and that getting rid of it will win her love as a result of a string of regrettable, unintentional events.
