Diabetes Alert Day - March 20, 2025
March is National Nutrition Month. This is a time where we
can learn about developing healthy eating and physical
activity habits as well as making informed food choices.
The theme for National Nutrition Month in 2025 is Food Connects Us . When we share a meal, it is
an opportunity to learn about how it was prepared, who made it, and where the ingredients came
from. Sharing a meal not only fills our bodies, but also our souls. The foods that we eat impact our
health, but memories, traditions, seasons and access can also affect our relationship with food.

National Nutrition Month
The American Diabetes Association recognizes the fourth Tuesday in March as Diabetes Alert
Day. This one day “wake-up call” focuses on the seriousness of diabetes and understanding
your risk. Take this Diabetes Risk Test to find out if you are at risk for type 2 diabetes
