CALL TO ORDER
a. A welcome to everyone- Chair Anthony Sanchez called the meeting to order at 12:00 PM. Director Valdez
noted the facility's current designation as an emergency shelter following Hurricane Milton.
b. A thank you to Friends of the County Parks and Recreation for providing lunch today.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
a. N/A


III.
PRESENTATIONS
a. ELAPP Annual Report - Jarryd Dalfino presented the ELAPP Annual Report on behalf of Forest Turbiville and
Ross Dickerson.
b. ELAPP Land Acquisition – The monthly update was given as a part of the Annual Report.
i. Aaron Casteel made a motion to approve the ELAPP Annual Report and forward it to the BOCC.
Scott Levinson seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved by all present at
12:19 PM.
c. Field Use Agreement – Rick Valdez will give an update at the next meeting.

IV.
NEXT MEETING DATE
a. 2025 Meeting Dates - Chair Anthony Sanchez asked if there were any objections to the 2025 meeting
dates. All present members approved unanimously.

V.
BOARD ACTION
a. Approve 09-19-2024 Meeting Minutes. - Jack Berlin made a motion to approve the September 19, 2024
meeting minutes. Aaron Casteel seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved by all present.

VI.
BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS
a. Scott Levinson inquired about score board replacements. Rick Valdez shared information on damage
sustained from the storms and replacement of assets.


b. Chair Anthony Sanchez confirmed the next meeting would be held in January 2025.

VII.
COMMUNICATIONS, ACTIVITIES, OR STAFF MEMBER COMMENTS
a. Rick Valdez shared that the department was a Gold Medal finalist again.
