The complex is a well-managed community with an active Board of Directors, Building maintenance superintendent, grounds committee and Property Management Company.
Amenities include assigned covered & guest parking, dual elevators, library/meeting suite, shuffleboard, poolside restrooms, direct beach access, outdoor shower, a beachfront pool, sundeck with lounge chairs and tables, and a waterfront covered pavilion equipped with gas/charcoal barbeques, granite countertop, sink and serving areas for all your entertaining needs. A little bit about our condominium, Driftwood Sands, that makes it so unique and
so special:
● Never miss a sunset! We're located directly on
the beautiful powder white sandy beach of
Indian Rocks, on the Gulf of Mexico. You can't
get much closer!
● This private property is resort-like and a nature
lover's paradise with beautiful natural
landscaping, lush green manicured grounds, a
crystal clear large pool (heated in winter), pool
restrooms, elevated pool deck with plenty of
tables, shade umbrellas and lounge chairs and
a large covered gazebo providing more tables
and areas to lounge and gather with friends. A
perfect place to read and relax, soak up the
sunshine, gather with others, share a meal,
toast the sunset! Our private entrance to the
spectacular powdery soft, white sandy beach is just a few footsteps away!
● Provided for owner/guest use are an outdoor kitchen (under the gazebo),
charcoal and gas grilles, umbrellas for the pool deck tables and a shuffleboard
court.
● Free guest parking and one reserved owner parking space.
● Located on the north end of Indian Rocks beach, a highly sought after location,
Driftwood Sands has only 45 units, where over one third of the owners reside full
time and many owners have owned for over 20 years! You will find it a very
friendly and welcoming place!
● Whether you're looking to be active most of your stay or simply to relax and
recharge, we think you'll find everything you're looking for! In addition to all your
favorite sun/beach/water activities the area is known for, the area offers plenty of
family fun, sporting activities, vibrant arts, fun shopping and a superb food and
drink scene. Many great bars, cafes, restaurants, breweries and shops are within
walking distance or a very short drive away.
● Easy load in/out with carts provided and easy access to two secured entrances
with elevators.
● A one-month lease minimum and rental application ($100) are required by the
HOA. Taxes and other fees apply as well. No pets and no smoking.
About our unit, 201:
● Our beautiful beachfront condo is a spacious 3 bedroom/2 bathroom end unit
featuring a most desired floor plan offering the largest, full width outdoor private
balcony spanning the master bedroom and living room.
● The master bedroom's sliding glass doors open up onto our large, private
balcony and the other two bedrooms have sliding glass doors which open out to
the outdoors (and not to an interior corridor). Start each day out on our balcony
overlooking the ocean with your morning coffee/tea and nightly, there's no better
place to take in God's spectacular sunsets. It's our favorite place to dine al
fresco, take in the sweeping beach/ocean-front views and enjoy the wonderful
sea breezes!
● Enjoy dynamic Gulf/beach views from the living room,
kitchen, and master bedroom of our light and bright
unit.
● Our fully furnished unit sleeps eight with a king size
bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the
second bathroom and a queen bed and twin
daybed/trundle bed in the third bedroom.
● Our unit features beautiful artwork and decor, a wood
burning fireplace, two large walk in closets, and a full
sized washer and dryer. We also have board and
card games, beach games, beach chairs, towels and
umbrellas for your use.
● There are televisions in all bedrooms and in the living
room.
● Utilities (electric, water), high speed internet, cable
and wifi are included.
● In addition to all basic kitchen utensils, bakeware and
cookware, we have a full size oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster,
coffee maker, mixer, and air fryer. A starter pack of dish soap, hand soap,
dishwasher soap, toilet paper and paper towel is provided.
● Our unit has been recently renovated with storm-proof sliding glass doors in the
master and second bedrooms and living room and an airy, all-white kitchen
remodel with new quartz countertops, new cabinets and drawers, new
dishwasher and refrigerator. We also have a new screen door on our front door
and screens on all our sliding glass doors, allowing you to open up the unit on
cooler days and let the fresh sea air breeze through the condo! It's magical!

THINGS TO DO: (this is just a small sampling)
~Enjoy the beach and beautiful clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico! Walk/run/bike the beach! Fish,
swim, collect shells & sharksteeth, snorkel, sunbathe, skim board, boogie board, paddle board, kayak,
jetski, dolphin watch.
~Explore Indian Rocks beach community and walk, bike or drive to the many great parks, restaurants,
brewery, bars, cafes and shops.
~Hop on the trolley (stop is one block away) and go north to the infamous Clearwater beach or ride down
to Treasure Island/John's Pass or St. Pete Beach.
~ Visit Downtown St. Pete and take in a MLB game (home of the Tampa Bay Rays Baseball Team) or a
professional soccer game (home of the Tampa Bay Rowdies soccer team), the brand new St. Pete Pier,
fabulous museums, shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, breweries and entertainment.
~In Tampa, go to an NFL game, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, an NHL game, home of the Tampa
Bay Lightning, a broadway show or play at the Straz Performing Arts Center, visit the bustling downtown
scene, Sparkman's Wharf, WaterStreet, Harbour Island and the Riverwalk. There are a ton of outdoor
events, concerts, activities and festivals always going on in Tampa and St Pete!
~Take a day trip; Orlando/Disney/SeaWorld/Universal Studios approx. 1.5 hours east on I-4.
Sarasota/Ringling Museum/St. Armands Circle is about 1.5 hours south on 1-75,
~Visit the quaint beach towns of Dunedin, Palm Harbor and the sponge docks/Greek food of Greek
town-Tarpon Springs.
