New Cell Tower Request : Current
Review Status
• CDD in response to resident’s request for improved
cell reception issued an RFP for a cell tower developer
(Awarded to Vertex Development)
• The south parking lot location was selected for the
Tower
• County staff was notified of a request for third party
lease permission (subsequent to CDD’s selection of
Vertex)
• Public comments received at request of County
• During review, County staff suggested two alternate
locations. Vertex Development expressed drawbacks:
• #1/#2 - Vertex requirement for 12’ raised access
road (Note: Existing County Park tower sites do
not have this)
• #2 - View of tower facing front of homes
(Glencliff Circle) vs. side/back of homes
(Woodbay Drive)
Suggested #2
