Docs.com is Closing Down

Another one bites the dust. Docs.com is joining the ranks of DocStoc, VuZit and Crocodoc with
their upcoming closure; Docs.com is shutting down December 2017. Have no fear - edocr is
here to stay. (Because document viewing and sharing is the heart and soul of our parent
company,
Accusoft
!) Hitch your content sharing to a team that will continue to care about, and
improve your document sharing needs: Better viewer, better controls, more features, and a
team that is actually there to help you!

Don’t let Docs.com delete your documents! Migrate your documents to
edocr
 today so you can
keep building your brand and your business. Migrating your documents from OneDrive is super
easy. (Check out our
blog post
on how to upload documents from OneDrive to edocr.)

The top 5 things that set edocr apart from other document sharing sites such as SlideShare,
Scribd, Dropbox and OneDrive:

● Search Engine Optimization:
edocr has enabled the document viewer to extract the
text from your documents so search engines can crawl and index your content from
every page. In addition, all of the text and links you include in your title, description, and
bio fields are indexed as well.
● Embeddable Viewer:
edocr’s HTML document viewer enables you to display dozens of
different file types on your website without worrying about whether your visitors have the
software to view them. Our mobile-responsive viewer provides a seamless content
experience regardless of viewing device.
● Analytics:
See if people are engaging with your content through edocr analytics. edocr
offers essential digital analytics—document views, downloads, and shares as well as
social media and email shares.
● Free Lead Generation:
edocr’s lead generation feature is absolutely free. Plus, edocr
provides you with leads that are validated (Yes, we said validated!). edocr validates the
email address given prior to releasing your content.
● Document Viewer:
Your documents shine on the edocr document viewer. The content
you’ve created in programs such as Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs
are clean, crisp, and readable—never blurry or hard to read.

BONUS
: Increase your revenue by selling your documents on edocr. You can sell a variety of
documents and images on the edocr shop, such as: books, short stories, academic papers,
business documents and more.

A few important things to note with the upcoming closure:
● As of August 1, publishing and editing content on Docs.com will no longer be supported.

If you migrate your documents to OneDrive, your Docs.com documents will become
read-only.
