The Friends of the County Parks, established in 1988, is a group of concerned citizens joining together to promote financial and community support to the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation, and Conservation Department. They develop public awareness of recreation as an important part of day-to-day life.
Funds provided by The Friends of the County Parks are used as a supplement to the Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department budget and does not replace allocated tax dollars. These additional funds helps maintain, improve, and enhance services provided by the Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department. The Friends of the County Parks enjoys a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit exemption status.

We are honoring the namesake of the Ed Radice Sports Complex. Ed Radice was the Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation Department Direc-
tor for 28 years, dedicating his professional life to bringing recreation to all citizens of Hillsborough County, with an eye towards the future in
terms of land conservation and inclusion of all people. He was a trailblazer in the world of recreation, a mentor and boss to the staff he cared so
much about and father, husband and man whose absence is felt so strongly that honoring him and his contributions to our community is a small
way to help fill the void we all feel without him.
We are seeking sponsors to help put on this race that will run through Ed Radice Sports Complex and looking for monetary and in-kind dona-
tions such as water, snacks, giveaways. Sponsorship information:
