Special Strong, a Special Needs & fitness company geared toward the health & wellness of disabled individuals recently announced the launch of a nationally accredited certification course program.
How to Become a Certified Special
Needs Health & Wellness Trainer
Special Strong gives
professionals and advocates
the chance to earn a living
while making a difference.
Although around 13.2 percent of
persons living in the United States
have some form of disability, there is a
worrying lack of knowledge among the
general population about how to help
meet their health and wellness needs.
Even within the special needs
community, many programs center
almost exclusively on clients with more
common conditions like autism and
ADHD, leaving those with rarer
disabilities and their loved ones to
scrape together resources on their own.
The desire to promote inclusiveness within
the special needs community and grow the
niche of persons catering to this
demographic was the driving force behind
Special Strong's Special Needs Fitness &
Nutrition Certification program under their
Strong Education division.
Recognized and accredited by several
national organizations, including NASM,
AFAA, and ISSA, the online course was
designed to properly train both complete
beginners and professionals on how to
manage exercise and meal planning for the
special needs individuals in their lives.
"After taking several different
special needs certifications, I saw
a huge educational gap in the
industry and knew I had to change
that" states the founder and owner,
Daniel Stein.
Receive confirmation and
access to the course space,
plus all updates, resources,
and perks for as long as your
account is active.
