Invictus Games 2025 Vancouver Whistler
Collaboration With Host First Nations Branding
Vancouver and Whistler, BC, recently hosted the first-
ever winter Invictus Games, spotlighting service
personnel and veterans in a unifying display of athletic
prowess.
The event, initiated by Prince
Harry, aims to aid in the recovery
of wounded service personnel
and veterans through the healing
power of sports.
Vancouver-based Carter Hales Design Lab was the creative force behind the visual identity
of the 2025 Games, working on the project for over a year.
Canada's indigenous groups collaborated with
Carter Hales Design Lab on the brand's
development, emphasizing unity and healing
through communal effort.
Artists from the host First Nations (Lil’wat, Musqueam,
Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh) contributed to the bold
motifs and geometric designs which inspired Carter
Hales Design Lab.
The Vancouver-based design company created a strong visual identity across the new website, Invictus
Village, marketing materials, official documentation, merchandise & medals.
