Curious about the latest research and treatments?
Don't miss PROSTAID Calgary’s November
meeting! Featured speakers will discuss the
Prostate Cancer Centre's latest work.
The November meeting will
be held on Wednesday,
November 15th at 7:30
p.m. at the CKE
Community Centre.
Every meeting
features a talk on
pre-selected topics
from health
specialists in the field
of prostate cancer
research.
November's meeting
features talks by 2
Prostate Cancer Centre
leaders about recent work
on early disease detection
and PSA (Prostate
Specific Antigen) blood
testing.
One of the featured speakers
is a leader of the MAN VAN,
the Prostate Cancer Centre’s
pioneering mobile men’s
health clinic, which offers
free PSA blood tests.
Free or low-cost diagnostic
methods like PSA blood
tests are important to
warriors in taking
responsibility to see after
their personal health
needs.
No appointments are needed to
schedule a PSA blood test at the
MAN VAN, and it takes only 15
minutes. If you score high, a staff
member will follow up with you
about next steps.
