Equi-Therapy UK is currently the sole provider in the UK of Equine Sports Massage Therapy training aimed specifically at post-graduate professionals. We also run a certificate course for horse owners.

Equine Sports Massage Diploma Course
Equi-Therapy UK aims to produce the highest quality therapists that are both happy and confident in their ability
to practice successfully. This is a post graduate professional course, it is a 5 day intensive course that is taught on a
1-2-1 basis followed by three-size months of studies including case studies and reports.
Students are required to have good knowledge and preferably experience of various equine disciplines. Students
will also need to be physically fit in order to undertake the various techniques that are taught during the course.
The course covers:-

Equine Anatomy & Physiology
•
ETUK Diagnostic Testing
•
Sports & remedial massage techniquest and contraindications
•
Trigger/pressure point work
•
Soft tissue release
•
Pre & post competition massage
•
Passive stretching & mobilising routines
The course is for post-graduates and open to qualified massage therapist, physiotherapists, chiropractors and os-
teopaths, BHS stage holders up to and including stave IV and degree holders in Equine or Human Sports Science.
