"Sooner or later, aviation
technology developed for war
always tends to make its way
to the civilian market" said
White.
Though he clarified that he was
still waiting for a shot to cover the
first civilian version of a B-2 stealth
bomber, the pipeline of military to
civilian technology holds true.
As a Marine veteran, White is
frequently interested in the
evolution of military technology and
he finds that fascination equally
useful when predicting the future of
modern aviation insurance.
"It's our goal at BWI to cover
anything that flies for peaceful
purposes and we hope that
includes the aircraft that will take
us to the stars and beyond
someday" said White.
In the meantime, BWI will
have to settle for covering
each new generation of
aviation technology that rolls
from military to civilian use.
