For the first time in years, edocr has released an update to its HTML5
viewer, and we are so excited to share the news. With these new
additions, we have also laid the foundation for future features.
The most notable changes include the document download and print
buttons have moved from the right side of the viewer outside of viewer
itself, to the top bar on the viewer frame (if enabled by the owner).
These changes represent edocr finally taking advantage of
improvements made in the PrizmDoc Cloud, the backbone of our
document conversion and viewing capabilities.
This leads us to the perfect segue to introduce NEW feature number
one. Viewers of documents on edocr may now choose to download the
document from our new display either in the original format (DOC,
PPT, PDF, XLS, DXF...) or as a PDF, offering a free conversion tool for
non-PDF files. Document owners are allowed to turn this capability off
on a document by document basis. The printer control has also
improved. Document owners are also allowed to turn print capability off
on a document by document basis.
Now, look at the bottom frame of our new edocr viewer. Added feature
number two is a new 'fit to height' button next to the already existing
'fit to width.' This additional viewing option is one more way edocr can
help you have a great reading experience on any device.
Added feature number three is the new Annotation, commenting and

On top of all that, we also added a bit more performance to the
document viewing experience.

The edocr viewer is powered by Accusoft's PrizmDoc Cloud and may
be directly embedded via iFrame on a website, or called via API
directly from the PrizmDoc Cloud service.
