screech owl!

Florida's largest populations of screech owls? See
below for more facts and a project idea if you're
interested in discovering a screech owl in your
backyard!

home!
PROJECT IDEA: Screech owls are at home around
humans. You can call screech owls to your yard by
playing owl calls at night. Listen and look closely to
see our feathery friends perched high!
There are three ecotypes, or
colors, of screech owls: red,
brown, and gray. These
colors help to camoulage
them against tree bark from
any predators.
