Jean Melancon lost hope that she would ever walk
on two legs again
Her doctors in Lafayette tried
everything and their final
recommendation was
amputation.
Then she found Dr. Niels Linschoten
He immediately told her, "You
WILL WALK again. You will not

That appointment was on Friday
On Monday, Dr. Linschoten
completed her surgery.

Jean was walking again!
It has been 10 years!
Jean is still walking and
