The population of Canadians over 65 now exceeds
those under 16, presenting a pressing crisis as seniors
require costly resources beyond what government
programs can provide.
The Blue Sea Foundation has
seen this growing problem and is
doing something about it, all
through the power of teamwork
and exercise.
At their annual The Grand Parade 5k event, you can hit the streets with your community to
raise awareness and funding for some of Canada's top senior support charities.
The 2024 event successfully gathered over
$740,000 with 1,800 participants nationwide -
aiming for an even larger outreach and a $1,000,000
goal in 2025.
The top 3 teams this year raised a combined $50,000
for Canada's charities - can you beat their record in
2025?
