Starting on August 29th, 2022, OneFootball will be minting and
distributing unique NFTs for Serie A football fans, on their new Aera
Marketplace.
Chiliz News explores which
clubs are involved in the new
partnership, and what you can
expect to see in the upcoming
season.
The new digital collectibles will be
available as short videos, showcasing
highlights of upcoming games between
the 15 Serie A clubs that have partnered
with OneFootball.
While 5 clubs are not included in the new partnership, footage of their gameplay may still be
included when they are competing against clubs that are included in the new deal.
Though the new NFTs will primarily focus on highlights of current games, Serie A
has also allowed OneFootball to produce video highlights from their archives of past
games.
The NFT videos will be packaged similarly to trading cards, with each
package containing a random selection, which can be traded on the Aera
Marketplace.
