Grip-Tech Floor Coatings recently completed a metallic
epoxy floor transformation at the historic 2,200-square-foot
Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, NYC.
Hard Rock Cafe came to
Grip-Tech looking for a
durable, long-lasting flooring
solution that could withstand
high traffic and other
challenges.
Together they decided on a
metallic epoxy flooring
system. Metallic epoxy
flooring is a blend of metallic
pigments and epoxy resin.
When combined, the
mixture creates a high-
gloss 3D effect that
catches the eye and
enhances the
brightness of a room.
It is also resistant to spills,
stains, and chemicals, and
only requires sweeping and
mopping to clean, making it
ideal for an establishment
like the Hard Rock Cafe.
The metallic epoxy blend
was distributed over the
surface in several coats.
After being given time to dry,
a protective top coat was
applied to seal everything in.
