The morning after the night before will be
gentle with you and open up with a
restorative breakfast and cuppa from
Charlotte and Kirsty.

James & Claire will HIIT you once again -  if
you can take it! Or you might want to try
your hand at a spot of wild swimming or
paddleboarding?

The lovely Natalie Groggins from Little
Lifers will host an introductory session to
Paediatric First Aid for those who want to
learn about the key things to do in an
emergency.

Or you are free to take a nature ramble in
the beautiful, natural surroundings of 
Drybeck Farm.

Sarah Brook Fitness - Main Stage - 11:30 Piloxing

Sarah says: "My aim is to encourage and motivate people
throughout their health & fitness journey. I think it is important to
bring the fun factor into exercise!"

Piloxing is a fusion of Pilates, Boxing and Dance, which makes
for a full body toning workout!

You can start at any level and can expect to feel the benefits
both physically and mentally. Brainchild of Swedish Dancer
Viveca Jensen, it focuses on strengthening core and sculpting
muscles - perfect!

Amy Johnson, Lifecycol  - Main Stage - 10:15 & 16:30 Sports Yoga

Tipi Talk session - 12:15pm  Title: Sports Yoga & Mobility

Amy has expertise in a broad range of fitness training, offering
lessons in and around Kendal, including  Spin & Suspension
Training @coreworxgym, Mobility @housefitnesskendal,
as well as Personal Training & Yoga for Sport

Mindfulness Group Walk

Martin works with companies and individuals to
develop Mindfulness practice for Resilience, Wellbeing and
Realising potential.

Mindfulness can support people and teams to find ways  to
build resilience, seek ways to manage everyday challenges and
stresses, or simply to find more balance in your life.

These sessions offer a great opportunity to learn more about
how mindfulness could help you.

Natalie Groggins - Little Lifers First Aid - Sunday am

Tipi Talk session   Title: Paedeatric First Aid

Natalie is on a mission to teach everyone essential life saving
skills and has so far trained 100's of children and parents
across the lake district to do just that!

She is absolutely committed to her cause and puts a smile on
the face of everyone who meets her, what a lady!

Gorgi Thorns - Northern Heights Dance
Demonstrations and Taster sessions throughout Saturday

Georgi brings a unique and exciting opportunity for  festival
goers to experience something completely different.

Northern Heights Dance teaches a full range of aerial, dance,
acrobatic and circus based workshops and events for those
who are willing to take to the air via an exhilarating Aerial Rig.

Georgi now has a permanent home at Greenlands Farm
Village, Tewitfield where Northern Heights Studio will be
opening it’s doors for weekly children’s & adults aerial classes
starting in June 2019.

Josh Lancaster - Lean Body Systems - Challenge Zone all day
Saturday

Josh will be running challenge events all through the day to
test your strength and help improve your technique.

He runs strength coaching classes in Lancaster and his 8 week
programme is "guaranteed to help you look better, feel better
and move better".

on  the site.

To Tim, Ellie & the Team from CBA Events who are
ensuring everyone is in the right place at the right time
and with everything they need to ensure smooth running
and maximum entertainment over the course of the
weekend

To Steve from Drybeck Farm who is the most friendly and
helpful host we could wish for, staying cool when all
around him are running on adrenaline! 

To Dave Mason and Sarah Parker from DMA Safety
Management, for making sure we have everything in place
pre-event to keep people safe and well throughout the
weekend. Dave will also take to the mic as front man
for Rip the Calico on Saturday

To Itchy Robot for getting our website up and running to
help us show the amazing things on offer at Fit District
Festival


Rip the Calico will play classic covers in the Tipi  from 6:30 and
Classic DJ tunes will play in Steve's Bar in the Barn from 10pm

Please use the bins provided on site and try to keep waste to a minimum
if possible

Our food and drinks providers have travelled a long way and put in
hours of early morning prep to ensure there is delicious food, drinks
and treats on offer throughout the weekend, so please do not bring
your own food an alcohol on site

Please stay happy at the bar, not snappy ....peace and love 

able to give people as many opportunities as possible to test out various
Health, Fitness and Wellbeing activities, as well as allowing local health,
fitness and wellbeing providers and support networks to show how they
can have a real and lasting impact on physical and mental health, following
the NHS 5 Ways to Wellbeing:

ACTIVE – CONNECTED – LEARNING – MINDFUL – GIVING

We hope this will support those attending to help find ways to improve
feelings of fitness and resilience to tackle the day to day challenges we all
face at work and at home in this 24/7 society. Let’s hope this is the
beginning of something very special!
