REQUESTED LEGAL REVIEW RESPONSE: On the issue of the Board members living in the district, per the Board
Resolution defining the Parks Advisory Board, Districts 1-4 must live within the district they are representing. In
addition, all Board members (for all citizen boards) must be Hillsborough County residents and registered to vote in
Hillsborough County. On the issue of term limits, the BOCC has not put term limits on any citizen board and all term
limits are found, if applicable, in the bylaws for the Parks Advisory Board. As of now, the term limits do not exist in
the bylaws.
