Launches OE
Acronyms, A Free
App for Doctors
OE Acronyms App - Available in iOS & Android
OE Acronyms, a new app for
ophthalmic acronyms and
abbreviation definitions, is now
available for free in the Apple
AppStore and on Google Play.
Expanding the field of ophthalmology
OE Acronyms was born of Ophthalmic
Edge, a non-profit organization committed
to educating the ophthalmic community.
This newest venture was led by a nationally
renowned and respected physician Dr. Yale
Fisher, M.D.
Built by ophthalmic professionals around the world
Developed over the last few months
by Dr. Fisher’s team of elite
ophthalmologists, OE Acronyms has
over 1500 entries provided by 35 U.S.
and international ophthalmic
contributors.
"...A must have for any eye care professional!”
The app has been very positively
reviewed by other industry experts, with
over 30 well-known and respected
professionals willing to lend their name
and contributions to the app.
A library of acronyms. Just a blink away.
The app’s users can attend medical lectures on
case studies and clinical trials, and understand the
topic even if the speakers reference acronyms
they weren’t initially familiar with, and medical
interns and residents can impress their more
competitive peers during morning rounds.
OphthalmicEdge x Kairos
The OphthalmicEdge Team is grateful
to Kairos Design Studio for their
support in design, development and
execution of both OE Acronyms and
Ophthalmicedge.org.
