How to Control Your Breathing during a Fight
codereddefense.com/how-to-control-your-breathing-during-a-fight/
A tactical advantage to win a street fight
Having the right self-defense techniques and being able to defend yourself is very important
during a fight. However, what good is it to know all the best self-defense practices if you’re
unable to get your breathing under control?
If you’re constantly out of breath and feel you are fighting to get air in your lungs, chances
are you won’t last long during a fight. Therefore, learning how to control your breathing
during a fight is crucial.
Being in a fight is stressful enough
And it’s completely normal to be overwhelmed with anxiety that you feel like you can’t
breathe. However, it’s important to remember that you are in control.
You are the one who can decide your own faith and what direction the fight will take.
Therefore, take the time to take a deep breath and stay in control.
Not listening to your body and forgetting to take deep breaths at the beginning of any fight
will have you feeling weak and tired.
2/2
You will automatically decrease your chances of winning the fight as you will most likely not
have enough strength and endurance to last the whole way through.
Take control of your breathing as you’re getting ready to fight
Therefore, make sure to take several deep breaths at the beginning of every fight. This will
give your body enough oxygen to fight through and last long during the fight. It will also make
you feel more in control of the fight.
Our video on how to control your breathing in a fight shows you important self-defense tips
and the importance of getting enough oxygen during a fight.
Don’t forget, your body needs oxygen in its cells to be able to defend itself in a fight.
Practice your breathing techniques in advance so that you don’t get caught off guard next
time you have to fight for your life.
