Commitment to the UN Global Compact

His Excellency Antonio Guterres

12 January 2019
Secretary General of the United Nations:

Our non-profit humanitarian inter-governmental organization (IGO), the
Order of the Temple of Solomon Foundation, operates humanitarian
missions under Crown Patronage of its founding Member State, the Sovereign
Magistral Order of the Temple of Solomon, a historical non-territorial
principality as a sovereign subject of international law.

Our primary missions are to: (1) Represent traditional values of Chivalry and
nobility in modern society, (2) Promote the principles of Justice including the
Common Law and Magna Carta, (3) Restore and preserve ancient knowledge as
the collective heritage of humanity to uphold the pillars of civilization, (4)
Advance genuine spirituality in religion through inter-faith cooperation while
preserving distinct authentic traditions, (5) Conduct humanitarian operations
for the sociopolitical well-being of peoples and upholding fundamental human
rights and liberties.

In furtherance of and supported by those missions, our institution hereby
confirms and declares our commitment to advance the Ten Principles of the UN
Global Compact, established as upholding human rights, labour rights,
environmental responsibility, and anti-corruption, consistent with the
underlying UN framework of conventional international law.

We therefore assert our commitment to participate in and engage in specific
activities in support of the UN Global Compact initiative, which constitute
integral parts of our IGO founding missions, in the following ways:

Implement the Principles through our own strategic programs and operations;
Promote the Principles in our interactions with other institutions and
organizations; Support Global Compact participants in implementing their
efforts upholding relevant international law; Engage in partnerships with our
private-sector member institutions to support corporate sustainability efforts;
Assist and support Global Compact issue platforms and work-streams; Conduct
applied research and publish expert reports to advance best practices; Provide
educational instruction and training promoting the Principles and teaching
sustainability.

We further pledge our commitment to submit a Communication of Engagement
report within two years after joining and every two years thereafter, describing
progress of our efforts to advance the Ten Principles and to engage with the
Global Compact.

Sincerely Yours,
